We’ve got some awesome news to share with you! KAIJU! has been awarded as Champion Medium Australian Brewery at the Australian International Beer Awards. To say this is a huge achievement and an honour would be an understatement. This is the highest honour in the Australian beer industry and one of the highest in the world. I think we can appreciate that Nat was a bit excited!
We also snagged the Trophy for ‘Best Pilsner’ for KAIJU! KOLDSPLIF (which is now exclusively available at our brewpub KAIJU! Beer & Pizza ) while every other beer we entered received a medal. We’ve put together some mixed packs for our webstore that I’ll talk more about below.
These awards are incredible recognition for the dedication, hard work and innovation that our team put in every day to forge the tastiest, most creative, REFRESHINGLY AWESOME beers.
And this success is also closely shared with you, our supporters. We are nothing without your fierce loyalty, love, feedback and support. Thank you so much for continuing to back us and we hope you are all celebrating and enjoying this moment as much as we are.

First is a Gold Medal 4-pack, consisting of KAIJU KRUSH!, Metamorphosis West Coast IPA, Aftermath Double IPA and Cthulhu on the Moon Black IPA. You read that right - every one of those beers won a gold medal at this year’s AIBAs. I mean, we know the beers are incredible, but that is still a spin-out!

When we started the brewery 10 years ago, we were always 100% focused on quality. We didn’t think about making money, having employees, or how big our brewery would become. We were just focused on making the most refreshingly awesome beers possible. Winning Champion Medium Australian Brewery is incredibly sweet, especially in an industry filled with high-quality brewers. It’s an extraordinary accolade, and we intend to build on it.
Even after winning these awards, we’re still working to improve our beers, finding ways to enhance their quality and deliciousness. This win gives us extra energy to push our beers even higher. We look forward to sharing many more with our customers in the future.
