When Nat said "It'd be awesome to brew a kettle sour with a tonne of raspberries in it," the brew team were unfamiliar with the concept of hyperbole.And so it followed that a literal tonne of raspberry purée arrived at the brewery several days hence.
Even with our best efforts the entire KAIJU! team can only consume so much peach melba and it was decided that we would make the most ridiculously raspberry-y beer imaginable.Enter the "Raspberry Rampage" Fruit Tart Ale.
Don't go looking for hops here folks, this is as pure a boozy, liquid interpretation of the delicious, soft little aggregate fruit you're going to find. Kettle soured to the perfect level of tartness, it's not apparent from the perfectly-balanced palate that there's 8% alcohol here. Just perfect, raspberry deliciousness!
